# Adobe Express add-on

> Animate an image or an explicitly exported page with Magic Hour and add the result to Adobe Express.

The stable development add-on accepts an uploaded image or an explicit current-page export, generates a short video, and adds the completed MP4 to Adobe Express after preview. Restricted exports are refused.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Adobe's selected-element rendition API is experimental and cannot be distributed yet. A separate
> development-only build captures one selected element. The stable build uses file upload or an
> explicitly chosen current page, and does not silently substitute a page for a selected element.

The API key stays in session memory. Prompts and the chosen image go to Magic Hour; generation uses API credits. **Add video to design** imports the MP4 Blob through Adobe's native video API. The source remains unchanged.

The add-on saves accepted project IDs for recovery. **Stop waiting** stops the local wait; **Resume generation** retrieves the existing project without another paid submission.

Live Magic Hour generation and browser preview passed. The native API contract was tested with simulated Adobe APIs. Actual Adobe Express installation and marketplace review remain required. See the [validation record](/integration/design-video-integrations-validation).
